Am I An IT Professional?

When I was in studying in school, I did not know anything that related to I.T. I can tell you that I am not an I.T professional. Some of my friends have taken course of I.T to study. I need more experience to explore my knowledge before I could say to myself that I am an I.T Professional. I know Information Technology is not a constant thing because we have different ideas depending on the experience and exploration.
I am sure we can find many type of information on Internet. I think it is best that we do a survey before making any decision. On top of that I think you everyone can be an I.T professional if they know and learn about them at the right place.
